He smiles softly and winks at her as he continues to eat his food. He was happy she didn’t mind him being a bit childish. Some girls wouldn’t like that but now his Rachel. He then winks at her as he then puts his plate away and he smiled as he cleaned up as he wanted to help as much as he can as he always loved to give an extra hand when he could. He then smiled when he sat down beside her and grins when she thanks him and grins. “Your welcome baby, im glad you liked it” he then kissed her cheek before he looks at his watch and smiles knowing their appointment wont be in til another few hours and he hugs her from behind wondering what she wanted to do. “So baby what do you wanna do til we go to our appointment..we have a few hours to go” he says kissing her cheek softly and smiling.
Rachel sat at the table while he cleaned up the morning’s mess, more than content to just sit and watch. Her hand absentmindedly rubbed over her swollen stomach and even though she wasn’t as excited as Finn was, she had to admit that she was pretty happy about today’s appointment. They could now get those sonograms for their parents that they had promised and she knew both sets would love to get the photos in the mail. When he was done and had returned to her, she shrugged as she looked up at him. “Well, I was thinking we could maybe continue what you had attempted to start earlier before breakfast… Only if you’re up for it…” One thing that she was sure they both would enjoy (and especially him more) about this pregnancy: hormones. Right now it wasn’t exactly the hormones as much as she was just attracted to her husband, but later on, she knew things would definitely get a bit more heated without her even trying.
He smiled as he looked over at Rachel and grins. She was so beautiful as always. He then came back over to her once he was done and then grins as he then raises and eye brow and then smirks licking his lip. His wife was the best wife ever. He then nods and wraps his arms around her. “Mhmm well i think that is a great idea, you know i love making hot love with my wife” he says with a smirk and leans in and kisses her passionately running his hands down her body slowly. He knew she wouldn’t have the horny hormones yet but it did feel good when she wanted him. He just loved that they still where like teenagers when they were both horny and wanted each other. It was awesome. He then kisses her passionately before smiling against her lips. “Wanna move this to the bedroom or stay here?” he smirks against her lips wondering if she would want to have kitchen sex.
He looked confused at why she called him over. He then smiles at her before she wipes his mouth and he grins at her softly and laughs. He loved that she was so caring for him. He then laughed when she said he was giving her great practice. “Well that was my plan” he winks and kisses her back softly and then smirks at her softly. “Yeah i think it was, plus you taste pretty sweet too” he smirks and then looks at her softly before he goes back and sits down as he eats one more and grins at her softly when she said it was good. He knew she was starting to eat a little more because of the baby and Finn had no problem with that at all. “Yeah it really is, and Fruit is awesome” he says eating lots of fruit.
“Mhm, I’m sure.” Rachel had no problem in helping Finn out with things – like staying clean while he ate – and actually thought he was kind of cute when he got messy. The two continued to eat their separate breakfasts and by the end – three pancakes and a bowl of fruit for her – she was completely full. She pushed her plate away and wiped away at her mouth, glad to not have spilled syrup anywhere it wasn’t supposed to go. Their appointment wasn’t for another few hours, which meant they had time from now until then to clean up and having a stress free morning. “Thank you for such an amazing breakfast, Finn. If I wasn’t ready to start the day before, I sure am now.”

Thank you!” he says as he licks his lips and eats his food quickly as always. It was just a habit he had. He then soon continued to eat his food and grins. “Nothing better then to start your day then with pancakes!” he says licking his lips getting some syrup on his face and some sugar too un a wear this was going and just continued to eat his food happily.
“Come here,” she said after a few minutes of eating, noticing how he was on his way to becoming a sticky mess. She took a napkin and dapped his face, letting out a small laugh. “You’re giving me great practice for our kid.” She pressed a kiss to his lips, licking her own as she pulled away. “I think you just gave me the sweetest kiss ever.” Smiling, she went back to her food, getting through two pancakes pretty quickly. She had known she was hungry, but it wasn’t until the food was right in front of her did she realize how hungry. But she attributed it all for eating for two so she didn’t make any big fuss about it. Her husband had made some great pancakes and she had some amazing fruit to eat with it. “This is really good,” she said as she got another pancake ready, “and the fruit is amazing. I love fresh fruit in the morning.”

He then smiled as he looked over at her and grins at how happy she looked. Since she got pregnant Finn could see a little change in Rachel and it was amazing. He never thought he could love her more than he did but her carrying his baby was incredible. He felt so proud. He then smiled as he felt her hug him from behind. He then grins and finishes flipping the last one and turns around. “Coming alone great baby, they are just done! I hope your ready for the best pancakes of your life” he winks and rubs her stomach.
“You say that every time you make pancakes,” she laughs as she takes the plates that had the pancakes over to the table. She sets the plates down before going back for the butter and syrup, everything else they’d need already on the table. “Go sit,” she told Finn as she brought everything else over, “I’m ready to eat.” Just a few months in her pregnancy and Rachel could already feel her appetite growing. She could eat before, but now she wanted to often and more. She just figured all pregnant women went through that. She sat down at the table and first put two pancakes on her plate, putting enough butter and syrup on them before she began to cut them. “Eat some fruit too, baby. It’s fresh this morning.”

He then sighs playfully and then looks deep into her eyes. “Oh okay…but can we continue this later?” he says licking his lips as he was like a big kid, he loved Rachel and loved making love. He then rubs her stomach and kisses her once more. “Okay pancakes time” he winks and goes back over to the pan.
Rachel wasn’t at all surprised that the two could easily carried away, and making breakfast no less. But she was hungry - and so was the baby - and whatever mischief they decided to get into could wait until after breakfast. “Yes, we can continue later.” She winks at him before he kisses her again, the two parting ways to work on their parts of the breakfast. While Finn made the pancakes, she worked on squeezing them some fresh orange juice, liking it better than the store bought stuff (even if it was organic). When there was enough for them both, she set the pitcher on the table, cutting them up some fruits for a nice morning salad. “How are those pancakes coming along?” She asked as she moved to stand behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist as she rested her cheek against his back.

He then raises and eye brow when she talked about being a vegan when pregnant. He was a little confused but so happy she was willing to make that sacrifice for their baby. He was so touched he. Then then walked over and wrapped his arms around her kisses her softly and grins. “Wait are you saying….you are willing to eat meat for our baby?” he says really touched. “You know your going to be the best mom ever, I love you so much and i know our baby Hudson will love you too, so much” he says softly and cuddled her close as he then turned her around and kissed her gently on the lips before deepening it.
“I meant small house,” she said with a grin. Rachel knew that no matter how big she got, she just wouldn’t be used to it. She was naturally a very small girl and being pregnant meant getting big and it was definitely going to be a big change for her. But she’d be getting big because she was having a baby so it was a pretty equal tradeoff. “Yeah,” she nodded, “I am. The pills I take for protein might not be enough and I want our baby to be healthy and happy.” She rubbed her belly as he came near her, smiling at his words. “I love you.” She let out a soft sigh against his lips, her hands coming around to his shoulders as he kissed her. The kiss deepened and she felt herself melting into him. “Baby,” she murmured, pulling back enough to talk, “we..the food. We can’t get carried away now..”

I mean i can take everything from here and you can watch TV or something” he says knowing he didn’t want Rachel to over do things.
Having Finn (and her dads) in the audience when she eventually won her Tony was already a sweet thought; but to have their son or daughter with them was almost too much to handle. In the kitchen she shook her head to his question. “I’m fine, Finn, really. I don’t want you to start doing everything for me just yet. Wait until I’m the size of a house before you start offering to do things for me.” She smiled over at him as she got out the other things to eat with the pancakes - some eggs, the substitutes for her. As she looked at his eggs, she started thinking about her vegan diet and how maybe being a vegan wouldn’t be the best thing to do while pregnant. “Remind me today to talk to the doctor about food today while we’re there. I don’t know how healthy it is to be vegan while pregnant and if it’s not…I think I need to rethink some things so baby Hudson has a healthy term.”

“It’s going to be the best day ever for me too,” she agreed, “besides our wedding day. And the day I first performed on a Broadway stage.” Those three days were going to be the best in Rachel’s life (maybe add when she won her eventual Tony) and she totally felt like she was living an amazing life so far. When he smiled for her, she grinned, happy that he no longer looked sad. “Good. A happy Finn means a happy Rachel and everyone loves that.” She took his help to get out of bed, letting out a noise of happiness when he mentioned blueberry pancakes. “Yes, those are my favorite and I think they’re going to become baby Hudson’s favorite too. You need to show the baby what an excellent cook their daddy is.” She smiled as she pecked his lips again and began to help get the things he’d need for the pancakes.

Hear her saying that she wasn’t excited made him a little sad. Maybe he was being too into being a dad. “yeah maybe i am being over the top…im sorry” he says sadly and then looks down as he cuddles close to her and then rubs her stomach gently. He was just so happy to become a dad and seeing her baby bump grow every day made him so happy but maybe he had to not be so into it, maybe he could wait until they find out the sex. Finn bite his lip as he always over thought things. “I know our peanut will be healthy” he soon got up sadly and went to the kitchen. “Ill go make us breakfast…”
It was very obvious that Rachel’s words – or rather lack of enthusiasm – hurt Finn’s feelings and she instantly felt bad for it. “No, no, baby, come back.” She grabbed his hand before he got too far, pulling him back towards the bed. She moved behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist as she set her chin on shoulder. “Don’t be sorry about being excited; I’m glad that you’re excited. I didn’t mean to sound like it was a bad thing. I just see it as another doctor’s appointment but it is going to be amazing to see Peanut again. We really don’t get to see him or her enough.” She pressed a kiss to his cheek before turning his face so she could kiss his lips. “Don’t be sad, okay? I don’t like it when you don’t smile.” She kissed him again before letting go, sitting back on the bed. “Do you want me to help with breakfast? I’m hungry and want to eat something good before we leave.”
